I’ll run thru all my rig for ya:

Sights:

I had a black gold revenge 7 pin and shot it for several years. It’s a great sight and it’s tough as hell. Pins are brighter than anything I’ve seen. If you are just gonna hunt Whitetails , 7 pin is too many, but BG makes great products. My two cents would be a BG 3 pin of some variety.

I am switching to an Option Archery sight this year. As I’ve hunted more out west, the shots have gotten longer and longer. As I shoot more long distance targets the ability to dial in the pin to an exact distance seems nice and the Option sights can flip the other pins out of the way if you want to and have time to .

I have GAS strings on now, they seem fine to me , but I’ve never really had an issue with any strings.

Arrows:

I shoot Day Six HD arrows now . I like a pretty heavy arrow . Since switching to the heavier arrow things have worked out well for me. Lots of different schools of thought here though. Easton Axis have been around a long time and most would say they are a fine arrow. I’ve heard good things about victory arrows but never shot em.

Hope this helps.

I figured that if I get some really good components that I’ll just swap them over when I decide to fork out the money for a brand new bow. After looking at the price of the new Hoyts and Matthews, it may be a while lol.
