Arkansas’s missed foul ball in Omaha which would have won a natty

That Little League mishap is still mind blowing.

It happened to me and my sister in LL. First and second base respectively... Both called for it, ball dropped between us.

But to happen to basically Pros at the Pinnacle of their Collegiate sport must be the worst sting.

It would've been about a 30 yard FG attempt with a heavy wind and a hurt kicker who'd already missed 2 FGs.

What really sucks for Cleveland is that the Ravens have been a borderline top 5 franchise in the NFL since they moved.

This picture says it all after the Pirates blew Game 7 in the 1992 NLCS. Their 3rd straight NLCS loss.

Gary Anderson hadn't missed in two years.

And Madden and Pat Summeral jinxed it by saying that...

And it was a sure thing.

Has any NFL team had such a gutpunch of playoff losses in such a short time?
- Beastmode in 2010
- Smith to Vernon Davis in 2011 season. 4 seconds left after our last minute score. Win and we host the Giants in nfc championship
-Minneapolis miracle after 17 season
-nola no call
-ot loss to vikings after last second tying kick

-Losing 48-21 as a #1 seed (2010)
-Becoming the only team to ever score exactly 2 points in a playoff game, a game in which a 2-0 second quarter lead turned into a 24-2 loss (2011)
-Blowing a 17-0 lead in the NFCCG as a #1 seed (2012)
-28-3, the worst loss for any team in North American pro sports (2016)
-Julio Jones dropping the game winning touchdown with a minute left to lose 15-10 the Nick Foles Eagles team who cruised to a Super Bowl after that (2017)

Idk what the Falcons signature win is

1998 NFCCG over a god-tier Vikings team who had won every home game by an average of 23 points until that game.

An under the radar suggestion would be the 2012 peach bowl loss to clemson the following year. We completely pissed the game away at the end and it also kinda really helped launch Clemson on their run the next several years

Browns

Relocating and winning 2 Super Bowls, who knows maybe 3 after this season. Meanwhile the "New Browns" are known as the gold standard of terrible. That's the true signature.

Aggies with Fran go down 77-0 to the Sooners.
FSU and wide right parts 1 & 2.
Maybe the earthquake game in Death Valley for Aubie.
MSU 3-2 loss to AU was memorable for all the wrong reasons
Sacramento vs Lakers in the obvious ref influenced game 7.
Kentucky basketball and the Laetner buzzer beater.
Jordan and UNC vs Georgetown for all the marbles.
OM with 4th and 25.

Sports really does give some amazing moments.

Green Bay blowing that NFCCG in Seattle is up there.

Virginia losing to #16 UMBC. Of course they followed it up by winning the whole tournament the next year.

Illinois '05 title game loss to UNC. Yeah UNC was loaded, but that Illini team was freaking good.

Butler back-to-back title game losses. Michigan and Chris Webber's tech on the "no timeouts" play. Wisconsin title game loss in '15 when Grayson Allen came off the bench. shite, lots to choose from in NCAAB.

WVU/Pitt still boggles my mind. All sorts of goofy shite happened during that 2007 season, including UM/App State and USC/Stanford, but that loss to Pitt trumps them all.
