Got turned on to them back in the late 90s. How is it that they never really caught on in the U.S.? They really rocked, their album, The Holy Bible, is probably one of the better rock albums of the last 30 years.

I never got into them, and I was a dude who read NME/Melody Maker in the mid-90s. The whole Richey Edwards story is crazy.

One of the many U.K. bands that are household names in their own country but are barely known in the U.S.

Probably the best band that got their start during the Britpop era, when you consider the entirety of their catalog. They are a great band live, saw them in Chicago on the Holy Bible anniversary tour.
