You can buy Sonny's sweet sauce from Sams club on Airline...it makes a great base to start with. Then add equal parts Barqs rootbeer. Then a good creole seasoning, and a litte red wine vin. Reduce over a low flame till you end up with the same volume you started with of the Sonny's. You will get a classic south louisiana sweet and spicy flavor.
