I take rosuvastatin 40mg every night. I feel no different since starting it.

What is this? I started on high-dose fish oil at 31 when my triglycerides came back in the 300s. Brought them down to under 150 pretty fast. A few years later, I switched to Vascepa and added ubiquinol. Can't say for sure they are responsible for my good lipid levels, but I'm not altering my routine at this point.

Crestor. A high-intensity, hydrophilic statin. Went generic sometime around ‘17. Always saw fewer side effects and fantastic results in patients on it, so when it was time to become a patient myself, I chose it.

Out of the secondary options, I’d choose PCSK9 inhibitor next and would probably pay cash for it if I had any indication to warrant further treatment (I’m drawing my own line somewhere around an LDL of 130 while already on max dose crestor but am debating whether I’ll be reassured by a negative calcium score if that doesn’t happen).
