I’d treat my LDL to 55mg/dL or lower if that were me.
I’m 3m past finding out I’ve got an LDL of 195 (which explains my uncle’s CABG at age 38 and both grandfathers dying before turning 60).

I take rosuvastatin 40mg every night. I feel no different since starting it.

Repeating LDL in about another week to see where I’m going from here.

CT calcium is a consideration. If my LDL drops drastically, I’ll leave it alone for a bit. If I’m still moderately high, I’ll be doing one. Also have the opportunity to be part of a lipoprotein (a) trial so may volunteer to be followed for that.

What is this? I started on high-dose fish oil at 31 when my triglycerides came back in the 300s. Brought them down to under 150 pretty fast. A few years later, I switched to Vascepa and added ubiquinol. Can't say for sure they are responsible for my good lipid levels, but I'm not altering my routine at this point.
