Someone mentioned that if you report it to WL&F and police the state will pay for your damages. Any truth to this or additional information.

Never heard of such a thing. More like report it to WL&F and you can claim the deer for processing if it's salvagable. Your car....your insurance.

No but if you call the police they'll come pick it up and bring the meat to a homeless shelter.. or his cousin's house depending on what part of they state you're in.

You have to contact the state police first and have them write up a report. Then you bring that to WLF and they'll cut you a check.
