yes of course, but wind loading can be so extreme that it can create a slab condition in a few minutes. Patrol can control an entire mountain but by the time they are on one side, the other side, yet controlled, has been exposed to a myriad of weather phenomena.

This area "literally" never melted from last year so it was already built up pretty good.
