Announcing and actually opening are two different things. Amazon has announced facilities all over the country the last few years, and a lot of them still are not operating.

There was one built 5 mins north of my house a couple of years ago and it never opened. I've only seen security guards in the parking lot when I pass by.

A lot were delayed because of construction and material supply issues.

I think this is just a small last mile fulfillment center to support a better service level in that region.

They are fairly easy to stand up and open so delay potential should be low. Not like the massive new multi million square feet ones in Baton Rouge, B’Ham, Little Rock, Memphis, etc. that have delays with sourcing robotic parts and even construction materials.
