Guess they should have beaten Bama

Georgia only had 1 loss and it wasn’t a bad loss, so they should’ve made the playoffs. I believe they would’ve beaten Alabama had they been healthy. Alabama wasn’t the better team, but they caught Georgia at the right time. Georgia would’ve won the National Championship.

The committee used “player availability” to override Florida State’s on field results.
Yet they failed to consider that UGa’s three point loss was dramatically affected by “player availability” as two of the Bulldogs top offensive weapons were hobbled.
Defenders of the committee’s decision point to the idea that their job was to select the “four best” teams not the “most deserving”. However, if that was the case, then UGa was clearly one of the four best teams.
When you compare two teams UGA vs Bama or Bama vs Texas, then head to head obviously should matter. But when you compare three teams, Texas-Bama-UGA you should go deeper. The transitive property becomes a fallacy more often than not.
Either way you slice it, this so
Called national title is clearly tainted and deserves to be questioned.
