ULA only managed to launch 3 rockets all of last year. This is pretty much a do or die mission for them.
They payload will be a private lunar lander from Astrobotics. It will he the first American soft landing on the moon since Apollo. Also on board are a bunch of dead people's ashes that will enter an orbit around the sun. Gene Rodenberry and some of the other original cast members from Star Trek are on board.

Also debut of Blue Origin's BE-4 Engines powering the first stage, and this is a new second stage design that recently blew up during a ground test. There is alot on the line here.

Looks like they are having problems with the lander.
A robotic lander built by a private company suffered a technical problem on its way to the moon on Monday, threatening to upend the first U.S. soft lunar landing in over 50 years
But the lander failed to enter its correct sun-facing orientation in space hours after it made successful contact with ground teams and activated its propulsion system, Astrobotic said in a statement.
"The team believes that the likely cause of the unstable sun-pointing is a propulsion anomaly that, if proven true, threatens the ability of the spacecraft to soft land on the moon," the company said.

Well this is embarrassing for America. The mission has apparently gone to shite. The craft experienced a propulsion issue and lost an assload of fuel and is not expected to make it. They are prioritizing gathering data and science now and looking into what other mission parameters could be fulfilled.
Sucks for all the dead people onboard.
Sucks for all the dead people onboard.

I hope for the families' sake they can recover them. Imagine knowing your relative's remains are stuck on the moon forever.
