Old Pink House has very good food and a nice atmosphere.

Took my mom to Savannah in August.
The Marshall House was great for dinner. Cool history in the building as well.

I’ll second the Old Pink House and if you can’t get in upstairs, the bar in the basement is like eating in an Old English pub. Very cool.

You need to check reservations asap for that weekend. Savannah’s biggest crowds of the year and this year is 200th anniversary.

Alligator Soul
Local 11 Ten
If you want a cool place away from the historical district, check out The Wyld Dock.
That said, St. Patty's? Good luck getting a table anywhere, homey.

Good luck getting to eat anywhere. About 750,000 folks will be in town that weekend.

For fine dining try Treylor Park’s fried banana pepper rings and fried apple pie sandwich with chicken.

The Crab Shack on Tybee Island
Posted on 1/5/24 at 9:18 pm to Motownsix
St patty’s day in Savannah is a shite show. I’d recommend staying on Tybee Island and there are plenty of great restaurants there. Crab shack for low country boil. Plenty of others that offer fried seafood.

Went in 2022. We enjoyed:
Olde Pink House
Vic's on the River
Traylor Park (we went for lunch)
The Vault (on the other side of the park)
The Wyld (about 15 minutes outside of town on a dock on a creek - we Ubered over there)

I spent 8 months for work there, so ate at about every restaurant. And very few memorable meals to be honest.
But I enjoyed the Wyld for outdoor cocktails and bites .. make sure you have bug spray. Seawolf on Tybee is a cool spot.
Everything in town is fine. Just fine, but not great …. the Crystal Parlor has some good cocktails and atmosphere (and she crab soup) . And any scored flounder in town is worth a bite.

This is the best idea. Here are Tybee recommendations:
Sundae Cafe - upscale
The Deck - upscale w/ outdoor dining
AJ’s - casual w/ great outdoor dining
Crab Shack - tourist trap but good food
Stingrays - seafood, casual with great outdoor dining
Huc a Poos - pizza with outdoor dining
Breakfast Club - really good breakfast
Chamaco’s Tacos - really good street tacos
Zunzi’s - Tybee location of really popular downtown Savannah spot

We booked The Olde Pink House and Common Restaurant for dinner two nights and Churchill for brunch on Sunday. We are going to just wing it for lunch a couple days and have plans with family two other nights.
This will be my third time in Savannah for that weekend but first time in about 20 years.

low country boil.
Sorry, but as a former long term inmate of the state of Georgia I never want to eat a Low Country Boil again. Just awful stuff when compared to Louisiana seafood.
Georgia was settled by British inmates, much as Australia was. It doesn't make for good eating.
