You could tell throughout the season that the players lost any trust at all in the defensive staff putting them in correct position. They were constantly game planned out of the play, and their effort started to reflect the loss of trust.

I'd like to know who had final say on how to play Perkins. Considering how bad we knew our secondary was going into the season, the only way I felt better about it was knowing Perkins was going to be all over the quarterbacks. Every time I saw him back in coverage I got a little angry. At the end of the bowl game we saw how pressure can help negate a poor secondary but that concept never sank in the entire season.

Not one bit. But knew this would happen lol. Just pointing out the amount of impatience our fanbase had when everyone with a brain knew it’d happen right after bowl game.

It's like no one has paid any attention since Kelly has been here lol. If changes were going to be made they were always going to be announced all at once after the season. Now hopefully we've learned to be patient during the hiring process because it's probably going to happen the exact same way
