And the .264 win mag should be more popular that 6.5prc, 6.5x47, 6.5-300 wby mag, etc.
Remington put the bullets in a very slow twist barrel that only took very light bullets as did Winchester with the .264.
Both cartridges were a victim of poor marketing and engineering.

Shot that until I couldnt get brass for it without paying 4x what it was actually worth.
Remington got a chance to do it right after failing the first time and they failed again.

I enjoy a good bash the creedmoor thread as much as anyone, but it still would have been created even if the 260 was a household name, and it still would have kicked it out of the house.
