Transfers to Alabama. Damn rlly wished we would’ve been on him more but it’s obvious our db reputation isn’t the best rn. Hopefully we make a run at AJ Harris out of Georgia we need to add a high upside cb to this room.

Our defensive recruiting is mediocre and our NIL seems to be a cluster. Michigan and Alabama both have better collectives and defensive coaching, why come to LSU?

BK has leveled up recruiting when it comes to the offensive trenches but damn is he slacking when it comes to DB recruiting. That has to improve fast

It seems BK has now shifted more toward HS over the portal. That was the plan all along and it’s better for long term success. We went portal heavy for 2 years due to lack of depth and I guess he thinks he has what he needs on campus and at the HS level.
I don’t think you’re gonna see lsu reeling in top portal guys because they are wanting top money and BK isn’t going to pay the most. Our portal picks ups are going to have ties to La because those guys are willing to take a hometown discount and that’s what BK wants. Guys that want to be at lsu regardless of NIL amount.
You can call it discount shopping/clearance rack shopping etc. but you’ll never see BK doing what aTm did and what Ole miss is currently doing.

If a stud player from an elite school is in the portal, then it's either an attitude issue or he is not good enough. That's why you bet on players from lesser schools who are seeking better opportunities vs kids who jump from one top school to another.
