Makes you wonder why Daddy couldn’t break Rudy off $500k or so from the millions collected after the election so Rudy could defend himself from this suit brought because of his actions committed on Daddy’s behalf. Side benefit would be muh discovery and truth as the ultimate defense.

I’m just joking; we all know why that didn’t happen

That's the whole game, isn't it?

It goes beyond that and they know it. Anyone involved in the legal community knows that lawyers in the big defense firms won't represent most Trump people, either out of their own political biases or a fear of being shunned or retaliated against. Dershowitz has said as much when it came to him representing Trump in the impeachment. We're now in a time where someone can get more time in jail for a trespass charge if they're MAGA than they would if they were a leftist attorney who firebombed a NYC police car in a BLM riot. The "justice system" is a complete joke.

Or why the sandy hook parents are looking at making a deal to drop down the billion+ Jones owes them

did they actually believe they were getting a billion plus dollars?

I don't think Fox News even paid 700 million or whatever it was. they made a backdoor deal to fire Tucker Carlson. notice how suddenly the whole "lawsuit" just went away.

they settled way below the asking price and agreed never to talk about it. only if they fire Tucker too.

Trump is a destroyer of people. He really is. I guess he will pardon Rudy and the hundreds of other otherwise good people that set sail with him. I mean some of his January 6 people have been put in jail without trial for many months

He’s fricked over the most loyal of his supporters. I can’t even name 5 prominent people who are still in his camp except opinion talk show hosts.

Now he has legal bills while Trump jets around the country running. And the list goes on and on. I'm sure in the end nothing will happen to any of them.

Yeah it’s sad what the deep state is done isn’t it??
Guys like Meadows don’t have the money to fight the administrative state,
federal government threatening to take your family and life away from you.
Ruin you.
Sounds pretty fascist doesn’t it?
Trump does have the money and the truth on his side
you’re seeing it right now with the tyrant Jack Smith, throwing the Hail Mary that got shot down.
No March 4 sorry.

If some amount of this is puntive it is definitely subject to reduction. And they won’t see a cent of it.

Okay Wednesday, I just got back from eating out. So, all judgements will be reversed. That is for Giuliani and Trump in his case about the woman he defamed. And the second civil trial there will be overturned, right?
So who's gonna pay their attorney fees? Are those overturned?

A punitive damage award which is excessive will violate due process and a grounds for appeal.

The judge also made a few legal errors leading up to the trial, which could result in a reversal entirely. For example. The statements Rudy made were made in the course of representing his client, and particularly in the GA senate proceedings. There are some immunities that apply.

Regardless of what happens on appeal, Rudy will likely declare bankruptcy- and good luck collecting $150M from someone who isn’t worth $150M.

For some of it - he may even be insulated by the corporate veil - in Louisiana, for example, he would be. . . BC He was acting in the capacity as Trump’s lawyer when he made all the statements and/or thru some kind of media company- so the LLC or corp or however he’s organized would probably ultimately be liable. I would bet that Ruby ultimately settles for some insurance $$$$.

IOW - Ruby finna get paid, but it will take a long time and it won’t be anywhere near $150M

oh here we go again. you're so full of shite and retarded. I don't know why people still engage with you.

If it was a dismissal why were they still paying Tucker's full contract? Tucker needed to get a lawyer to be able to broadcast a show without being sued by Fox.

Eat shite pedoboy.

The left has a long history of repression and undermining once respected institutions. At a certain point, the reaction sets in and the left is exposed as a malicious minority.

I'm surprised that Venezuela didn't result in a civil war given the idiocy and want that the communists inflicted upon a country that was once South Americas most prosperous.

Wasn’t Rudy reduced to doing cameo videos and stated that he was broke a couple of years ago? They won’t see any of that judgment.
