You said you had the alphas by lacrosse. Ever tried the alpha burly pro? These are on sale right now for $130 when all the cool camo colors are $250+. I usually get a few seasons out of them before the sole starts coming unglued, then I just glue them back. The camo starts fading after a couple years, so I went with the ol faithful green. I got these pros and the 800g for 260, I figured that’s a good deal for what they are. The stretch better for my big calves and are lighter than they look.

Just got them for $130 also. I can't fit in the regular green lacrosse. Too narrow.

alpha burly pro
Ive had 2 pairs of AlphaBurly Sports in camo, and one pair of AlphaBurly Pro in green… most comfortable boots Ive ever had. All three pairs, the sole came off within the first year. I clean and pick my boots/waders up in closet whenever it’s not hunting season too.

Since then, ive had 2 pairs of Magellen knee boots over the last 7-8 years (on sale $23ish). Pretty frickin comfortable for the price so I just got a pair of magellan ankle high on sale for $17 a couple weeks ago. I leave the Magellans outside by the door all year long or they’ll stay in my truck too.

Sometimes that saying “you get what you pay for” isnt always true.

This is what I wear. I tried much and the uppers seemed stiffer and uncomfortable on long walks, I usually park at least 450-500 yards from my stand.
