Having no SEC team in the CFP will cost LSU money. So, yes they should stump for Alabama. They should stump for Georgia too.

These are teams we recruit against. I hope they get left out of the playoff then get blown out by Iowa in the bowl game

I understand what you are saying, but I can’t find it in my heart to worry about SEC money if it benefits Georgia or Alabama.

Umm. So? It will cost them what? Like $133 k in their share?

It’s a $2 million difference in payout overall between a NY6 and a CFP game. That mess LSU’s lost money is 1/15th of $2 million which $133 k, so please shut up.

Y’all are stupid. Going to any bowl outside of NOLA WILL COST LSU MONEY. Do the math. All bowl revenue is shared BTW. Both Bama and UGA will be in NY6. When you travel and bring all the band and everyone else it will COST LSU MONEY. There have been TONS of articles on this so go google.

If LSU promises to use all that money from CFP strictly for NIL for college football recruits, I’ll consider, may I please see it in writing. If not Fk Bama and Fk Georgia —— and also fk atm because I hate them worse and they deserve zero$$$

Last time I checked, LSU does not have a money problem.

I bet you are one of the “We need better OOC teams to play in regular season” guys.

If Bama is in and Texas is not, say goodbye to worth a shite out of conference guys.

Having Bama (or Georgia) on the omauoff hurts more than losing a little money

They already have recruiting advantages and their success only makes that worse.

There is nothing that can help LSU on the field by Bama getting in

Incorrect. The school won't fold if it misses out on a little income.

This is the correct answer, with an added "frick you" to those teams just because they're those teams. I don't like anyone in the SEC not named "LSU."

No. frick Bama and every team in the SEC. LSU will not suffer the slightest inconvenience from Bama and UGA not making the CFP. You want to listen to these guys talk trash about 2023 for the next few years? This logic. SMH.

These same motherfrickers have been openly stumping against Daniels for Heisman based on nothing but petty jealousy. frick em all. frick the SEC.

Because money is an issue in the SEC

Getting out recruited by Bama and UGA will cost LSU more money. At least you’re not short sighted though

only about $400k.
I think LSU will survive.

here is the math for those of you that don't believe it's that small of a number.

if you get a team into the playoffs, the conference gets $6 million.
the SEC splits their revenue equally amounts the 14 teams, with the exception of the playoff team getting a larger cut than the other 13 teams.

I'm not sure how much more exactly the playoff team gets vs the rest, but if you divide that $6 million by the 14 teams in conference it's only around $428k.

so the number LSU loses is south of that.
