Leverage - A letter to CBK and SW

Brian and Scott,

First off, I would like to congratulate you on your contributions in bringing yet another Heisman Trophy to Baton Rouge. However, I would urge you to not rest on your laurels.

We are quickly developing a reputation across the sports world as a University that takes in quarterbacks and develops them into Heisman winners, allowing them to play on some of the most prolific offenses of all time. Now we have an opportunity to capitalize on our new reputation. Nearly every quarterback on a college football roster will want to transfer here.

I’ve been conducting an analysis after extensive research and believe we should target Arch Manning in the transfer portal. Here are the reasons:
- He grew up in Louisiana
- He was a 3rd string quarterback this year.
- I am reading reports that the starting quarterback won’t be declaring for the draft. Meaning Arch will be 3rd string next year.
- We develop quarterbacks into Heisman contenders in prolific offenses. These quarterbacks would likely go as undrafted free agents at other schools, but come to LSU and leave as potential #1 draft picks.
- We have a history of bringing kids who left Louisiana back to The Boot.

I don’t know what it will take to whine and dine the Mannings. This is for you to figure out and execute.
