Mathieu has tremendous football smarts. He's actually a great x and o guy. And he would be an incredible recruiter.
Dude, please be quiet. Hiring rookie coaches is a very dumb idea.

Alright, Jackson is nickel back coach at Wisconsin now. That’s like being the the assistant passing game coordinator at Army. There ain’t too much passing going on in Big 10!

Steeples was an NFL assistant special teams coach! Wow, what credentials! He wasn’t even a position coach in NFL. BK plucked him from HS ranks! What a resume’!

I’m no fan of Steeples, but the dude is at least a coach. He’s been in coaching for multiple years at multiple levels. Tyrann has never coached. Should we hire Alan Faneca as OL coach? No.

LSU isn’t a training ground. Steeples, who has more coaching experience than the Badger, is also not qualified.

If I was BK, I’d pass on Corey Raymond and drive to Saints facility today and make a pitch to T.M. to retire at the end of this season and come save DBU! You couldn’t find a better DB recruiter and he’s expressed a desire to coach.
Where do you guys come from? Seriously, take a break from Madden Football.

His credentials far surpasses Steeples.

Remember when we let Kevin Faulk coach?

You’re talking about a man that has never recruited anything or coached a high level team even at the HS level.

So I can’t see how you can say that.

Neither had Prime! Also, badger was DB at KC when House was LB coach there. They really like one another and probably know the schemes that House likes.

If you think that's even remotely similar, you don't have the common sense God gave road kill.

I’ll play along… HB was instinctive. I don’t know if he could teach and that would translate into better DB play but if you go watch him in 2011… he ball hawked and I don’t think that’s easy to teach. Some have it some don’t.

All that matters!

We should also hire OBJ as WR coach, Brad Wing as ST coach, and Kevin Faulk as RB coa…oh wait, we did that and he wasn’t good.

Prime was a hall of fame cornerback who went from NFL commentator to Head Coach in college football. That is a far bigger leap than TM jumping directly into being a position coach for his Alma mater with the DC that was defensive coach on his NFL team (that he has connection with). If you can’t grasp that, you must be Joe Biden.

Why are you mentioning a former All-American LSU DB who has decades of coaching experience?

You must be one of them old thinkers Rockyray1 is warning us about!
