Toyota ain’t what it used to be. They have cut corners in recent years and try to get more people into their Lexus product

My friend has a 21 Rav 4 and it’s the biggest POs he’s ever had. About to get rid of it.

My son a forestry major at Miss State loves his 07 4x4 suburban and yes he uses it in the woods all the time.

This is true for for US built Toyotas, like the Sequoia, Tundra, and Tacoma. Cheap materials, and less than stellar build quality. The good ole 4Runner is still built in Japan, using engine technology dating back to 2002, and sure it has less tech. All of those are reasons I purchased one. Don't need the gimmicky crap. Just want it to work when I need it to. Our Yukon/Tahoes were complete crap.
