Hey that doesn’t count cause bama is a different team even though they sure looked like the same team yesterday…

What happens if Iowa beats Michigan, Oregon beats Washington, Oklahoma St. beats Texas, Alabama beats Georgia and Louisville beats FSU? I know it more than likely won’t happen but there has to be some kind of craziness with upsets this football season.

In that case it Should be

1) Michigan (13-0)
2) FSU ((lock at 13-0)
3) Oregon (12-1, avenged only loss, and ranked as highest 1 loss team)
4) Texas (Beat Alabama in Tuscaloosa by 10)

But we all know the NCAA will bens the knee for Alabama or Georgia and frick someone. Probably Oregon

If bama gets in over texas in that scenario I would have absolutely no respect for this years playoff

ETA: just realized Jon tard started this thread. Wouldn’t have wasted my time responding.

I think the SEC and PAC 12 championship games are the only two games where winner is guaranteed a spot in the playoffs. And I understand the head to head. But if Alabama beats the back to back champion, I think they jump Texas. So in that scenario..

1)Michigan vs 4) Alabama
2) FSU vs 3) Oregon

If the committee wanted bama over Texas or Oregon they would have done it after the lsu game

It’s clear they don’t want that

Finebaum agrees with me that both Bama and UGA are in if Bama has close win over UGA - LINK.

Other guy also agreed that UGA is still in with a close loss.

Bama hasn’t been a SEC champ with win over UGA yet. You win the best conference against the undefeated back to back national champs and things change!

You think the PAC and Big 12 are on the same level as the SEC?

Zero chance Bama over Texas if they both have one loss.

Texas was the better team when the game was played. Texas had the revenge factor and a more experienced quarterback among other advantages. Alabama was starting a quarterback with limited experience in high stakes games and who has struggled to become an excellent passer.

We're getting ahead of ourselves; conference championship game weekend may make the decision process easy.

Then it comes down to 12-1 Bama vs 13-0 FSU and 12-1 Oregon.
