This is so laughably inaccurate. I just plugged in Baton Rouge to Phoenix and it’s 25 hours including all charging stops (shows 12 stops and they are all 12-20 minute charges…can cut down stops by charging longer at one)
The same trip in Google Maps is 22 hours not including any gas station or bathroom break stops (which are included above by stopping)
So maybe an extra hour and half to 2 hours of travel difference and couple hundred savings in gas…and the Tesla drives itself
That's just global warming bullshite.

Tesla really needs the Cybertruck to be a hit. However, they are finding out it is expensive to produce and it is so polarizing I do not believe it will be a sales homerun.
Yeah from what I've seen the tri motor might be close to 100K
That's way outside of the bounds of what they originally pitched it as

Please explain.
That poster said his cousin told him he would need 16 stops at 7 hours a piece to drive to Louisiana, that’s 112 hours or 4.6 days of just charge time. Does he really believe that?

Elon got out over his skis a bit and didn't research the difficulties one runs into producing stainless steel bodies.
And ask a DeLorean owner how difficult it is to clean them.

Most of the manufacturers are backing off of the EVs. It seems like the foreign car manufacturers are headed toward hybrids.

Elon does a fine job on his own driving the value of his companies into the dirt.
This isn't 2018 anymore. Elon is a Patriot now. Strannix, for example, adores Musk today. Sheep. Doesn't know who was bailed out nor when... just knows his Poli toddlers will take his word for it, like this subject line. Sheep(s).
Strannix isn't an idiot, let me clarify. Not completely. But Strannix is an invertebrate. Zero ability to respond to the bullshite he posts here or on PT, when wrong. A Stout doppelganger/minion.

I love how in EV threads it’s all love for hybrids and how hybrids are the clear and obvious way forward etc etc etc
Then in any thread about an updated vehicle (such as the new camry, accord, sienna etc) more than half the replies are about how the manufacturer fricked up the car and is destroying their brand by making it a hybrid

Don't even attempt to mention brands like Suburu, KIA or Hyundai. Lesbian, shite and Shittier. Everyone has a friend who says so...

I finally got back out from under the albatross that was my ford stock a while back. Haven't paid any attention to it since but can only imagine it's just more disappointment

Impressive.
What really stuck out to me though was how badly those charging stations are fricking people. Apparently the customer volume isn't there yet, but that markup compared to charging at home is insane.

What does the California no gas engine law say about hybrids?
It's been advertised as an EV only law so I'm curious.

Serious question: Why do we give a frick about California in that context?
