100%
JD5 should be making at least half his salary!

CBK recruited JD5 in the transfer portal with many here chastising the decision, so your point could not be more wrong.

JD5 wouldn't be a Heisman contender without BK, Denbrock and Joe Sloan. I guess being 6-5 with O at the helm would be better because he's from down the bayou.

??????

How was he “gifted” Daniels??

He recruited him out of the portal. And after year 1, outlined an offseason plan to make Daniel’s better and we are seeing the results.

Sounds like BK had an eye for talent and knew how to develop it.

That’s good coaching, not a “gift”

“Take away the best players recruited by the head coach and he wouldn’t be that good!!”

You’re one of those morons huh?

It’s really a stupid argument

How many of the following are true about OP?

1. Thought it was a mistake to recruit JD5, because this was "Myles' team"
2. Thought Nuss should start in 2022
3. Thought Nuss should start in 2023

And like clockwork, OP is nowhere to be found now that his ridiculous theory has been exposed for the garbage that it is.

I totally agree. Without the guy he targeted in the portal, recruited to LSU, and then trained from infinitely holding onto the ball and never throwing it, to now, CBK is so lucky.

Exactly. These retards are now saying he doesn’t get credit for the guys he recruited and developed lmao

You can’t make up that kind of logic. Wow lol

So a team would be worse without its All-American quarterback.

As Yoda would probably say “A dumbass. You are. Posting. Quit.”

I’m sorry, JD came into this program a shell of what he is now. CBK and staff developed him to get him to this level. It wasn’t some fluke. Kelly is not above criticism for sure but this is a ridiculous take.

We may have 3-4 wins this year without JD.

Kelly loves the Ds progress and coaching, blaming it on players

are you saying Nuss couldn’t have led LSU to wins?

Remind me, who recruited and signed JD.

Anyway, how was that different from any outstanding QB who led the team to success?

It’s fricking coachspeak.
The guys has been one of the most successful coaches in football for 3 decades. He’s had good defenses consistently throughout most of his career.

He would be sitting at the same table as Billy if not for JD5

you really don't think Brian Kelly is the reason why JD has made this leap?

CBK then gets no credit for his transfer to LSU? Take any starting QB, other than UGA, off his team & what team in the League would be having as good as season?

He did. He was damn lucky. He was gifted with Daniels and a room full of great receivers. In addition, for some reason, Alabama was not the normal Alabama. To make my point, Georgia treated us with no respect in the Championship game. He lucked up again by playing an extremely dysfunctional/flawed Purdue in a Bowl game. The stars were aligned.

You poor stupid bastard. You probably actually believe all of this total crap you’ve posted. What an idiot you are. An embarrassment to normal functioning humans.

BK went out and got JD5 when much of the fan base thought we had our starter (Brennan) on the team already. He was smart to go get him and it paid off in a big way with an SEC West Championship in his first year and another solid year in year 2 despite the atrocious D.
