"I would make up the report sometimes, because A, the coach wouldn’t come out at halftime, or it was too late and I didn’t want to screw up the report. So I was like, ‘I’m just gonna make this up.’"

quote:

“Because first of all, no coach is gonna get mad if I say, ‘Hey, we need to stop hurting ourselves, we need to be better on third down, we need to stop turning the ball over and do a better job of getting off the field.’ They’re not gonna correct me on that. So I’m like, it’s fine, I’ll just make up the report.”

Pretty easy to do when you're fluent in coachspeak.

Isn’t that what all commentators do for sports? Just run through typical bullshite?

I think Steve Young once admitted that he wouldn’t even pay attention to anything. He’d just repeat the same ole lines for every quarterback.

I am shocked that coaches try to avoid the halftime interview.

Underscores the absurd notion that sideline reporters are in anyway necessary or add scintilla of value to a broadcast.

I mean no shite. I just assumed 50% of those reports are made up. I'm sure Collinsworth spoke the backup TE that's having his only great receiving game of his career about the power of consistent training. I always assumed they send a generic questionnaire so they could "talk" to everyone just in case they need a sound byte.

This is a big nothing burger. Sideline reporters for all sports are useless.

In-game interviews are so cringe. I hate them and wish they would end.

She's still beautiful in her early 40's.

10-15 years ago she was an absolute smokeshow. But even peak Charissa doesn't come anywhere close to Molly now.

I would fire her for admitting this.

IDGAF if it's sometimes hard to get a coach to talk, to just make stuff up is horrible.

Even if her bosses knew it was happening (which I kind of doubt) to come out and say you flat out make shite up like it's no big deal is mind numbingly stupid.

It is amazing how attractive women truly think they can say anything they want with zero accountability because they have been able to get away with it all of their lives. Hot privilege is real. This should be a fireable offense but nothing will happen.

Of course, she did. All sideline reporters, especially the women(who are supposed to be eye candy) are useless.
