Usually we have at least 2 purple jersey games a year. Would be cool if we did WPW one game and GPG the other. For whatever reason we did the all whites with the gold helmet against Army instead of wearing purple, that could have been the GPG spot

I believe that combo has been retired. Wikipedia in their LSU football account shows the white/purple/white combo as LSU's color uniform, and gold/white/gold as the white uniform. Gold/purple/gold hasn't been seen on the field in years, and won't be any time in the near future

Also the White Pants have PGWGP stripes as well.

Wow, I didn’t realize the last time we wore them was against CMU on 9/18/21.
Traditionally, used to wear them against non-conference opponents at home, outside of 1st home game of the season.
vs ULM 11/21/21 (white/purple/white)
vs NM 9/25/22 (white/purple/white)
vs UAB 11/20/22 (traditional white)
vs Army 10/21/23 (Gold/white/white)
