I am both. Masons are neither.

the problem stems from people like my parents who give to the church every month.
if it were up to me, i would shut that shite down and never give another cent, but as long as they still control their money, they will never not give money to the church.
younger people werent raised the same so they have no feeling of being obligated to support and give to the church.
i think we are about 15-20 years before the old die off and those who replace them have no indoctrinated teaching to always give to the church.
that will be the time the church will run out of money and start going bankrupt

This has always been the case. You cannot be a Christian and also believe in the tenants of freemasonry. I am a former freemason, and the two are diametrically opposed to one another.
My grandfather and father were both Freemasons and also deacons of the Baptist church. Grandfather was a founding member of the church. Both deeply spiritual Christian men who not only worshipped but also led others to Christ.
So, pretty sure you’re full of shite.

It's not. Ask me how I know.

Sounds like they weren't paying attention during their Entered Apprentice initiation when they only had to profess belief in a higher power, and not specifically to the triune God. A Muslim or Oneness Pentacostal can become a freemason.

You can find websites online that have the initiation scripts if you don't believe me. I'm not saying your family members weren't devout Christians, only that the two institutions are incompatible if either are taken seriously.

Well, fwiw, to my knowledge, neither one was deeply involved in the Freemasons. Of course, they could have been moderately involved and I probably wouldn’t have noticed at the time.

Fair point. I think for most, it's simply viewed as a fraternity of sorts. A place to hang out with other men and fellowship once a month. So I'm not attacking any individuals who are members, as I once was, rather the actual tenants of freemasonry themselves.

some little podunk town in North Louisiana and couldnt believe how many graves had the free mason logo thing engraved on them. Do they let anyone in?
Probably my hometown...and yes, you just have to be recommended by someone who is already in.

No! Only men of good report. The vote must be unanimous.

Masons are Gnostics. The forerunners of Gnostics are not Christians and were kicked out of the early church by the apostles themselves for rejecting the gospel.
Where do some of you get this shat?? Nothing could further from the truth!!

Yeah, but what exactly does that mean?
Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is to refuse God’s mercy. It is a refusal to repent of sin. God does not bring anyone into his kingdom against his/her will. Human persons have the ability to reject God’s mercy and refuse forgiveness of sins which leads to eternal separation from God.

How? Make sure to be as detailed as possible, even though I doubt you'll reach any semblance of a logical response.
Also, just so you know, since you don't sound very smart, Canon Law explicitly forbids Catholics from enrollment/membership in Masonic associations. See the 1983 Congregation for the Doctrines of the Faith's declaration on Masonic associations, the 1985 Holy See documents about "the incompatibility of Freemasonry with the Catholic faith", and the most recent 2023 Dicastery for the Doctrines of the Faith for the 3 most recent proofs.
