Marruci said the virtual reality device tracks his eyes on where he is throwing. It has every opponent’s stadium to know where the play clock is and feels like you are really there. Jack said they started this the week of the Miss St game and that was when he started to throw the ball down field.

They had a segment about the VR on today’s episode of The Path. Pretty cool

Why didn’t they train Nuss on it too?

Why did it take the MSU game to start this VR training? Why not the week before FSU?

That should have been utilized all season and off season but I appreciate the fact they started using it and have been seeing positive results from it. Hopefully the utilize that the entire spring and off season with Nuss instead of mid-season.

I really believe virtual reality is going to be big in sports training espcially for QBs and baseball hitters.

what better way to practice reading defenses than being able to see them out there.

and how much would it help a hitter to see the spin and movement on a ball.

the issue is replicating arm action but eventually teams will plug in tape on a pitcher and batters will see arm action spin movement from
the batters box on all their pitches before they face them.

Dang! Can we get this for the defense? They need all the help they can get!

I’m sure it helped but nowhere near as much as what it’s being made out to be. Jayden Daniels got better because he worked hard and has good offensive coaches. VR helped sure, but to say VR is the prime reason for Daniels season is dumb.

I thought i heard earlier this year that they’ve had it a while and it was mainly a gadget recruiting tool but Jayden has used it way more than prior qbs. In this video he says they improved it and used a lot more since the msu game.
