And rookie QBs, then you are not a good team.

If it happens once, it’s a fluke. When it consistently happens that shows horrid coaching.

This team may win an awful division, but will do nothing in the playoffs.

Agree. I wish we could lose every game left so we can draft Caleb Williams and my mock drafts will be more fun.

We have one of the softest schedules in the nfl. Potentially 7-4 and then the lions will drag us across the turf

Getting to the playoffs and not doing anything is still better than what just happened if you are a Falcon or Bucs fan. No one thinks we are that good of a team but if you want us to root for loses no fricking way.

Sadly this is what most fans and loomis wanted. We are in Carr-gatory and just delaying the inevitable rebuild. $70 million in negative cap next year as well. Very hard for people who understand football to get excited about the saints. The face-painters will say we aren’t true fans.

You know that your team f**ked up by hiring Dennis Allen.

We’ve played 9 games. 7 of them have basically been one possession games that could have gone either way.

That’s just the the way the nfl is. The saints aren’t a great team this year. But I’d rather them keep stacking wins, get to the playoffs and see what happens than not.

My head wants a high draft pick and a rebuild but my heart wants to win. I’ll never pull for the Saints to lose.

A decent team would be 6-3; not collapsing vs GB.
A great team would be 7-2; winning vs either houston or jax.
An elite team would be 8-1; losing to only TB because they had your number that day.

We are literally a middling team, tripping all the time, luckily the opponent trips harder.

Not many blowouts in the NFL

Just take a look at the point spreads for every game, every week

There’s many things that can happen that a team has no control over

Such as injuries or bad calls.

You must have the desire to win every game and every play.

Go Saints Go!

P.S.

Sean Payton’s defenses made many mediocre to average QB’s

Look like hall of famers

With the Saints schedule this year it means you win the division handily, get a home playoff game and a chance to beat a good team. I would have thought that was obvious.

I’ve been waiting for the offense to start clicking. It’s still sputtering.

But more concerning is the defense is going backward. Cam Jordan - I think had 2 sacks last 2 games - has otherwise been mediocre.

We’re not getting consistent pressure with 4 anymore. That was what made us good. We didn’t have to blitz nearly as much.

You must be a new fan. This is the NFL and it is stocked with world class athletes all across the board. Some are more organized and disciplined but any of them can have a stellar day. If you play tennis with a good player, you will play better than if playing with a bad player. Back when the Saints would only win 3 games a year, it was usually some of the best teams in the league they beat and then lose to the bad teams... If what you say is all you got out of yesterday's game.... I'm sorry

Seasons are about the progress you made and what you've figured out. You're rarely gonna find a team that just had lopsided victorys all year. This isn't college. Even bad teams have good players that'll give you trouble. It's just that usually the better team bears out the win over 4 quarters.

Also just be glad we won. I don't get some of you guys.

Was going to start a thread but this seems to be a good place to ask.

I agree 100% with this statement;

With all the horrible contracts the saints have on the books from chasing a ghost, How do they move forward? Keep in mind most if not all of these veteran restructured contract are untradeable simply because they will cost much more to have the player off the team.

How do you fix this team without adding much more to the already horrible contracts we have?
