Consider this:
When food resources are for whatever reason slim, some animals, primarily insects, resort to matriphagy to survive. The brood literally eats their mother. The craziest part? The mother doesn't attempt to save herself. She doesn't fight or flee. She allows it to happen for the advancement of the species. That is all that matters, her continued existence in the world no longer serves a purpose. Her death means more at that point than her life.

The rose petal floats on water.

The kingfisher flashes above the pond.

Life and beauty swirl in the midst of death...

Dude, just stop. It’s a bison. A lot of people mistakenly call them Buffalo. But it’s the North American Bison.

The one on the left is a bison, the one on the right is a Buffalo.

Bison =/= Buffalo, they’re two completely different animals.

Unless he went to Africa or SE Asia at some point, he probably never killed a single buffalo in his life.

Possible. But he’d still have to go to either Africa or SE Asia to do it. The only buffalo in North America live in zoos.

Yes. That is 100% a North American Bison.

ETA: and the Buffalo Bills…

By their mascot, should be the Buffalo Bison.

Yes, but ultimately you're both right.
