I see you haven't visited this board in a while.

We have posters here who have called for genocide, openly cheered church bombings, claimed that there are no Christian Palestinians and have generally celebrated their bloodlust, but I'm called "pro-Hamas" because I refuse to join in their rituals.

You’re part of the reason we don’t win wars anymore. You are weak, silly and naive.

We destroyed entire cities during WW2.

"A few terrorists"? - Hamas is an organization with 20,000 members.

I do find it strange that this board is skeptical of corporate media, the intel agencies, and Pentagon on almost everything, but hey Israel says there are some terrorists in these buildings, so let's take them at their word and cheer on killing 400 people at a time.

It’s even more strange that some believe the barbarians that jumped the fence sbd murdered 100s of civilians and that the people who indiscriminately fired off 1000s of rockets just disappear and don’t reside in the middle of the people that put them in power and support them. In fact they are like ghosts who appear out of thin air to butcher people and just go away after they are finished with their death missions.

However, when did it become OK to carpet bomb thousands of civilians to root out a few terrorists? Israel's recent bombing of he Jabalya refugee camp is just the latest example of indiscriminate bombing and the palestinian death toll is already eight times larger than the Israelis - many of them women and children.

Pretty sure the hate was already there on the Muslim side, and any action by Israel wouldn't change that.

More than a few-

Hamas' objective, since its creation, has always been to slaughter all Jews and eradicate Israel.

"From the River to the Sea"

In 2006, Hamas ran openly for the first time in legislative elections and won the largest number of seats.

Considering this, there was/is a substantial amount of the civilian population that have the same ideals as Hamas.

I'm not saying it's okay, but war is hell.

Which is why I, being much more virtuous than you, called for a complete cessation of hostilities, on December 8, 1941 and September 12, 2001. I'm just a better human being than you war monger guys. My super-important emotions on any given thing clearly trump military strategy or the fate of nations. For I am Social Media Peace Guy. And I am currently aligned with Hamas Guy, Muslim Conquest Guy, Campus Activist Guy, Democrat Party Guy, Deep Thoughts Guy and Antisemite Guy.

Which side should we choose? A nation that actually contributes to the world or terrorists that believes their religion gives them justification to kill women and children?

Why is there "nowhere for the refugees to go"? Look at a map of the Middle East. Which country is surrounded ( the sea being one side ) by its enemies? Which countries have thousands & thousands acres of land available, millions of dollars available? Which countries have closed its borders to these refugees? And regarding to the stats of fatalities, the number of those fatalities being children, who is releasing these stats? Why the continuous referral to children? Hamas authorities.

We wiped two Japanese cities off the map in WW2

That's abominable just on the face of it, but it's possible a ground invasion of Japan would have been much worse

Clearly you don't know what "carpet bombing" is...

This one phrase absolutely destroyed any chance of you making a credible point..

If you're pointing out that people have inconsistent thought on this board sometimes, thanks for pointing that out. If you'd like to contribute to the conversation instead of serving no purpose other than pointing out the obvious, start writing something of substance instead of "look at me" and "those people are inconsistent."

The OP doesn't understand why the violence occurring is justified. Let's stick to that.

Dresden. We burned alive more civilians than we killed in Hiroshima. And we did it deliberately.

Didnt happen.

Youre literally speaking pure fantasy here.

There were people on this board cheering Hamas the first day of hostilities too, the day they massacred innocents with their hands.

The only difference between this war and every other war in history is Israel gave the Palestinians WAY more notice to evacuate.

They have been warned for weeks to leave. If the "innocents" don't like their situation, they should fight against Hamas and take control of their lives.

This is what I can’t understand. These people were warned as to what was coming. Why are so many women and children still there? Are they being forced to stay?

Please show me where the IDF is carpet bombing anything?

quote:

Israel's recent bombing of he Jabalya refugee camp is just the latest example of indiscriminate bombing and the palestinian death toll is already eight times larger than the Israelis - many of them women and children.

Please do two things. First prove that the numbers Hamas are providing are not total bullshite? Remember that this is the organization that after an IJP MISSILE HIT THE HOSPITAL PARKING LOT claimed that the IDF bombed the Hospital and killed a nice round number of 500 innocents. Second, please prove that the IDF munitions caused the casualties and not the apartments toppling due to tunnel collapsing and secondary explosions of Hamas ammunition dumps.

quote:

If someone is holding my child hostage and hiding behind them for cover, I would hope that they send in the most accurate snipers to take out the perp and not launch a grenade that would kill them both.

You are aware that hostage rescue is completely different than MOUT right? How are you even comparing the two?

quote:

Total BS. They need to stop the killing now otherwise they are only sowing more seeds of hate and anti-Israel sentiments with every innocent life lost.

You saw on October 7th what this absurd thought process gets you? If you are okay with having people slaughter 1,400 innocent civilians which brought us to this point, you are a fool. The Palestinian Leadership has brought this upon their people and if they get slaughtered so be it.
