And since Katrina, while Chalmette fans have enjoyed incredible consistency and stability with their growth, Jefferson Parish has added 3A Haynes, 3A Thomas Jefferson, 3A Patrick Taylor, 4A Kenner Discovery, 2A Jefferson Rise, and now recently 3A Young Audiences… only just recently did they get rid of Helen Cox and Grace King to compensate for that

add to that a meteoric rise in a population not interested in football, which is what killed several middle school programs(that and a lack of coaches)
