Circa 2001 or 2003 Corey Webster shoved their receiver in the end zone.

Was Mason Taylor really in bounds and across the goalline on last year's purported 2 point conversion?

Moss’ toe tap catch @ Alabama. They ruled him eligible because he was “forced out” and therefore could reestablish himself inbounds.

Moss wasn’t forced out IMO.

The first ever replay review that happened prior to replay existing in college football

I was at that game. Dinardo era I believe. 3rd Quarter of a tight game and we muffled a Bama punt but obviously recovered. Refs inexplicably signaled 1st down Bama. During the ensuing tv commercial break, the play was replayed over and over on our new South End Zone video screen, with coaches and players pointing up to it.
The regs huddled up, obviously looking up, and I think they decided that they didn’t want to be embarrassed on ESPN that night. By the time the commercial break was over, they signaled 1st down LSU.
We prevailed that day on a late 4th quarter td set up by a long pass from Josh Booty to the TE.

That Yeldon play/2012 game is still one of my all time crushers. It took me about 3-4 years before I could watch that game again. Also from that game, show the hold on the long Eddie Lacy screen before the half. Leads to a td. Literally changed Kevin Minter’s angle while running. Also, don’t forget the 2014 game where Reggie Ragland pulls on Vadal Alexander’s outstretched leg after the whistle and Alexander shoves off. Resulting in a personal foul and instead of 1st and goal inside the 5 and a win, it leads to a fg and inevitable 3rd and Chavis melt.

There’s no way you are confusing Dinardo with Saban

Well I was shocked there was no official review of the play, but ... I didn't complain about it!

Closest I can think of would be Eric Reid's interception in 2011. It was debatable and I am amazed that they didn't overturn that call in Tuscaloosa.

Agreed. I saw that play and expected a snowstorm of yellow hankies since it was in Gumptown, and was amazed that it didn't happen.

That said, there's a difference between not getting a call on a "debatable" play vs. getting a call or no-call on an obvious infraction.

One of those things is not like the other....

Only one that stands out was 2004. Corey Webster got away with a PI that stalled a drive for Bama. LSU was down at that point then rallied to win. It was a huge deal. Bama got a letter of apology from the SEC for it.

OP: don’t forget the “personal foul” in 2014 that prevented us from a possible TDat the end of regulation. Followed by Bama getting several breaks after to tie it up and win on a pick play in Ot.

My favorite play from the 2016 robbery is when Etling slid feet first, only to be speared by Ruben Foster. Of course no flag came out bc it was Bama and they would have lost their best LB to suspension for the blatant cheap shot.

This is some bullshite. Every team does not get cheated in every game in every sport. Even being facetious, this is a stupid statement.

I'm sure there are many, many others like that - close calls that went our way.

We just don't tend to remember them because we don't get angry about calls that benefit us. It's human nature.
