After a proper bed shitting by Framber yesterday, this team/series is at a crossroads. They could easily pack it in and be satisfied with another ALCS run, or they could do what we all know they’re capable of doing and come back to win the series. I’m thinking that the former option is fine with some of the players on this team.
After the first yesterday, the Astros continued to roll out a rug of hope for me to stand on only to repeatedly jerk it out from under me. I’m hesitant to step onto that rug again, but I don’t think I can help myself.

I think we can win 2 of 3 at Globe.
I could see this going like the series where all 7 games, the road team wins.

Mates, I wasn't sure who I'd be supporting when this series kicked off. I have no particular rooting inteterest and I've often sided with your Astronauts on account of the (in my opinion) unfair persecution they have received these past years.
With that said, I have found myself pulling for the "Rangebaws" without entirely understanding the reasons why.
What I can say is that I steadfastly hope your Astronauts can emerge victorious in at least 2 of the next 3 contests and avoid this unfortunate 2023 postseason trend of sweeps and uncompetitive series. I will extend the same wishes to the cauldron of enthusiastic Diamondback supporters in their MSB thread.
Hope there are no hard feelings, as I've quite enjoyed many of this group's antics over the years and I'm sure I'll be supporting you over whoever emerges from the National League Championship Series should you pull off the improbable comeback against Tejas.

I think the way they responded after the first yesterday clearly shows they’re not just going to roll over. They’ve never really done that during this run of success once. They couldn’t come through with the big hit yesterday but I don’t take that as a sign of quitting at all - hitting baseball isn’t an “effort” thing, it’s mental and focus based (which is clearly lacking with some of these guys).
The way that top of the first went it was shaping up to be a 10-1 type of game though

Exactly! They won every inning but the first.

Inaccurate. Heim’s homer in the 3rd wasn’t matched.

96 WS Yankees dropped two at home against the Braves then won the next 4, just saying. Derek Jeter. I wonder if he mentioned that yet.
Game 4 went 10 innings
So it’s possible

I can’t stand Schwarber’s fat arse. Still makes me laugh that he tried to bunt with 2 outs and 2 strikes in B8 of the WS last year

Spend Jim Cranes money Aaron Nola edition. Change my mind. A certain earmarked $150 million or so has recently become available.
