When do we find out if this team is legit?

3-2 start with injured Carr, and missing a few key players. AK back, Maye coming back, MT healthy and Carr seems ok.
Is it just Sunday to Sunday, or do we realistically think that this team can go on a run mid to late season?

Didn’t we find out against Tampa? We’re outclassed in our division so we’re going to need to make a wild card. Doable but probably not legit.

What’s your definition of legit?
If it’s Super Bowl contender, the answer is No.
If it’s fringe playoff team that might win 1 playoff game against the right matchup, the answer is Yes.

I think you're reading too much into that game. Carr shouldn't have played, AK was just getting back, and our secondary (strength of team) was down some guys.

It comes across as an excuse, but I don't think you can really use that game as a barometer. Carr only practiced 1 day and you could tell he was getting used to the shoulder. And AK admitted that he was going too fast and not letting things develop. I also do not believe 1 game will determine if a team is legit. Good teams lose to bad teams all the time, and bad teams find was to beat good teams.
When you look at the upcoming schedule, I think the next 2 weeks will determine who this team is. Going on the road to face an improving Hou team, then get what appears to be a good Jax team at home.

This team looks to be the exact team I thought it was. Capable of going 11-6 and winning the division, or going 7-10 and firing the coaching staff.

I think it’s basically if we’re able to stack wins.. we haven’t been able to since 2020, which was our last really good team. If this team continues to be inconsistent week to week, where it’s win one week look like crap for 2 then win a week.. we pretty well know where we stand..
The really good teams in this league stack wins, until we do that I feel like we’re average at best.

The defense is good enough. We'd have to make a lot of progress on offense to compete with the Niners or the Eagles.

10-7 or 9-8 on sheer defensive talent alone. The offense is atrocious and will lose games we should win like green bay.
It's a sneak in the playoffs lose round one team. I've seen crazy shite in the playoffs so maybe we could win game one but we aren't beating Philly or San Fran. No way in hell
