Yes, but does that eliminate Hamas completely from the Gaza Strip?
Posted on 10/14/23 at 8:37 pm to Havoc
Yeah I don’t understand it
I also don’t understand how our country benefits from sending Israel money snd support.
I’m not saying they don’t have the right to defend themselves, I just don’t understand our need to fund them.

I believe the Lefty's had control for decades until the 90s.

My thoughts exactly. Israel can and should kill as much of this current crop of Hamas leaders and foot soldiers in the next few weeks, but there is no conclusion to that effort.
I grew up in the 80s-90s in two different middle Eastern nations. Relatively western ones of course, including Dubai. Even there, Israel did not exist so the word was censured and removed from the history books.
My social studies teacher had photocopies of the redacted pages covering post WWII history and passed them around to the class with explicit orders that no copies leave the room. Whatever Israel does to Hamas, something will take its place. The hatred of Israel and the Jews across the Middle East is incomprehensibly entrenched.
Also - not all heros wear uniforms. Sometimes heros are effeminate and almost certainly gay men teaching 6th grade social studies in some international school in the Middle East.

All that foreign aid has a stipulation that they have to buy from United States companies and those companies kick back to our beloved lawmakers “election” funds.

But you said it’s the small minority that hates Jews in Gaza?
Don't put words in my mouth. Quote where I said that. Not something else twisted into it, but where I've said THAT.
You're not going to find it. If you want to be dishonest, move goalposts, spin/twist, or flat out lie, that's on you and your character.
That link he posted shows actual data from 3 weeks ago, straight from the horse's mouth, reinforcing exactly what I've said from the beginning.
If you want to better understand the lay of the land, read it. If you want to talk out of your arse, don't.
Questions 26 and 71 lay out what I've been trying to get y'all to understand.
The highest level of support for Hamas is just 38%...and that's in Gaza.
It's only 12% in the WB and 22% overall.
Also of note is the data is bifurcated, treating WB and Gaza as separate groups. Weird that an organization that knows Palis better than anyone would do that...
So, no, all Palestinians can't be lumped together.
The very victims of the attacks, who are WAY more pissed about this than any of y'all are, aren't lumping them all together. They're hammering HAMAS in GAZA, not bombing Ramallah. It can't be any more obvious.
These are direct quotes from earlier in the thread when I was trying to explain the above:
quote:
Do you have any evidence to support your claim that hamas doesn’t enjoy support from Palestinians besides “trust me bro”?
quote:
Hamas has 53% popular support of Palestinians.
The poster of those 2 quotes came back and posted actual data that directly refutes his earlier claims. And, as I told him, kudos to him for doing so - it shows honesty and a little guts.
Other nuggets that I refuted and was met with ridiculous bullshite for doing so:
quote:
1. Hamas has overwhelming support within Palestine and the Islamic community as a whole.
quote:
Hamas is Palestine. They are the government that runs it.
These are clearly wrong, but don't believe me. Just look at the data that was posted.

The USS Eisenhower carrier strike group will join the USS Ford carrier strike group in the eastern Mediterranean in a show of force, a senior U.S. defense official confirmed to Fox News on Saturday.
Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin made the decision on Saturday, according to the official.
The development comes as Israeli forces are preparing to conduct a ground invasion of the Gaza Strip.
"I have directed the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group (CSG) to begin moving to the Eastern Mediterranean
Is the move to eastern part of the Mediterranean actual new?
I kind of figured it wasn’t hanging around southern Spain when it was going to the Mediterranean.

It actually doesn’t refute it at all. Theyre two separate questions, kind of like asking “who would you vote for today out of a field of 15” vs. “do you support x”

The Jerusalem Post put together a piece with various videos during and after the attack. This is a rough one, and is graphic. Don't click if you don't want to see what evil is capable of. It should be seen, though.

From the link you posted.
The answer for Hamas was 22% overall, 12% in the WB, and 38% in Gaza. This directly refutes your earlier post of
Question 26 is worded differently because it's specifically asking which party should represent the Pali people as a whole (meaning a combined WB and Gaza together). The answer for Hamas was 27% overall, 20% WB, 37% Gaza. The numbers are slightly different because it asked A or B or neither, and didn't leave room for the other possible parties. I still directly rebuts your claim that
and supports "trust me, bro."
You and others are dead fricking wrong. It's not a matter of academic debate; y'all are basing your opinions of who needs killing on absolutely wrong information. I gave you a little course correction and you started foaming at the mouth and twitching.
The data is right there. YOU posted it!
I'll also reemphasize another point...
The Israelis themselves - the very people who were victimized by Hamas' actions a week ago and are more emotional/angry about it than anyone; whose lust for revenge far eclipses yours or anyone else's on this board - is somehow focused on HAMAS IN GAZA and not all Palestinians as a whole and/or the West Bank.
It's like they know "Palestinians" aren't a monolithic entity, not all of them are responsible, and not all of them need killing.

My prediction is that Israel is looking to sweep Palestinians out, starting with the north and pushing them South towards the border so that the international community will take them on as refugees.
Israel will likely try to influence western nations into accepting these refugees.

I am sure you’re smart enough to understand the difference between what is basically a poll for a “primary” vs. an approval rating.
Besides, it’s all immaterial because the alleged “Hamas support” is just a surrogate for supporting terrorism, which 67% from Gaza Strip supports and 49% from WB supports.

That was tough to watch. Makes me want to punch every “free Palestine” protestor square in the face and wish Israel would glass the entirety of Gaza.

That was tough to watch. Just bomb them all and get it over with. Screw the UN, US, and whoever else. It has to be done.

Any reasonable country would expel those folks from polite society. There is zero reason for decent Americans to share the same territory/governance/etc. with those ghouls (prominent political/media voices included).
