Don’t let the naysayers trick you into believing circumcision isn’t required for Christians.
God in the Old Testament made circumcision a requirement. He tried to kill Moses for being uncircumcised. He gave free rein to rape, kill, loot, and take slaves from amongst any group of uncircumcised peoples. He said anyone uncircumcised is cut off from him (God). Jesus himself was also circumcised, and claimed he did not come to abolish the law or the commandments of the old covenants. Jesus is God, so that was really him trying to kill Moses for being uncircumcised.
Do you want to be like Jesus and do what Jesus wanted, or do you want to follow Paul, who proclaimed circumcision was unnecessary?

You know nothing of the bible if you think God "tried" to do something and was unsuccessful.
God never tries anything. He DOES. That is the benefit of being God, everything goes your way. He could snap his finger and destroy the universe (if that was his plan).
