While Florida lost those games last year I don't recall them getting blown off the field by 3 opponents. They were competitive.

All this hate towards Miles is retarded. Most teams would kill for our w-l record under him as well as his recruiting classes. The ball didn't bounce our way this year, but it did last year - and it will bounce our way again. There is no indication that he won't fix the problems, or that recruiting is falling off.

Leaving at halftime, booing our own players, When did LSU fans become such a bunch of crybaby pussies?

You can thank Saban for that W-L record....as for recruiting, #1 recruiting class doesnt mean shite if you cant develop the players

Really? Did the players coach themselves after Saban left?

Explain this, please.

LSU is more patient with coaches than probably any other school in the SEC.

And UF had the Heisman winner at QB. A returning player who had been groomed to play the position the year before...Sounds like...aw forget it. If you can't figure it out by now you never will.

Macavity, we won two NCs without a heisman trophy contending QB much less one who won one. That's because our Defense has always been what keeps us in the tight games, and allows our offense to do what it takes to win. We have never really been known as a high powered offensive machine, except for maybe when JR was QB and he had such a threat with that arm of his, but still in all, we won both NCs with guys named Matt who weren't the most highly acclaimed QB in CFB by any stretch. In both of those years DEFENSE, and staunch one, is what was the common denominator.

I wouldn't say they were miles apart different. I'm not comparing them, but throwing against Florida last year was like throwing against LSU this year.

i guess Bud Foster isn't a half decent coach either

I do not understand this board sometimes.
Agreed first they complain that he doesnt say or do anything then when he addresses the problem they complain.
only time will tell, but I'm sure your vote of confidence is reassuring.
Would you rather he just give up and let the team get worse?

I am so sick of hearing him say that. I wish he'd just fire the whole defensive staff and make everyone happy.

LSU has had 7 count 'em 7 Head Football coaches in 25 years.

1984-1986: Arnsparger
1987-1990: Archer
1991-1994: Hallman
1995-1999: DiNardo
2000-2004: Saban
2005-2008: Miles

That's only six. Unless you're counting the interim coach for the 1999 Arkansas game, in which case you are deceptively stretching to make a non-existent point.

What was LSU going to do to keep Arnsparger and Saban? In the last 25 years, LSU has fired three coaches: Archer, Hallman and DiNardo.

Which one should still be coaching us today? Obviously one of them should be, right? Since LSU is so unreasonable about firing coaches, one of the three we've fired in the past 25 years should be still coaching here, right? So which one? Is it Archer, who couldn't recruit worth a shite? Is it Hallman, who couldn't coach the players he recruited? Is it DiNardo, who destroyed the defense with a shitty DC hire and completely lost the respect and confidence of the team (sound familiar?)?

Which one?

after we lost the to Arkansas many of the posters were stating that they were giving up their SEC tickets and calling to fire Miles. However, after we found our way to the NC game, many of these posters were trying to find tickets to jump right back on the bandwagon. I don't think they succeeded because many of them had already gave up their season tickets

What method is there for giving up one's season tickets between the regular season finale and the bowl game? Season ticket renewals don't come out until the spring.

It's amazing how full of shite some people are.

The days of keeping a coach for 10-15 years are pretty much G~O~N~E, GONE.

Actually, LSU has a history of being pretty fair to their coaches and giving them a real chance to make the program work. They can hardly be accused of pulling the rug out quickly on Curly.
