Unless BK choses otherwise, he will be our HC for many years. I think that is a good thing.
This, bare minimum I think we're in this thing for 5+ years. The buyout is just too great but I also think if Kelly were to somehow suck for 3 years in a row or something (not that I think he would) I doubt he sticks around and something gets worked out.
People talking Kelly's coaching contract right now are just silly though, we got off to a rough start in year 2 of a rebuilding process here, let's calm down a bit considering his history and give him a chance here.

Next year seems to be trending in the direction of a downgrade instead of an upgrade.

You’re wasting your thought and time.
BK is the LSU coach for the foreseeable future. We’re stuck with him so you better just think about ways he will make it work.

Hot take here, but the long coaches contracts are probably a net good for the sport. It has gotten ridiculous with the mob mentality that weak AD’s would have to give into and nuke programs. You have to give people more than a couple of years to build. It does no one any good to constantly cycle through coaches and buyouts.
Yeah harbaugh is a good example. It 5-6 years but now Michigan is a dominant program. You have to be patient .

He's not called "BLANK CHECK WOODWARD" for nothing

This (10 year, $100 mil contract) is why it would be a disaster,
Combine that with the need to pay players, we should be praying that Kelly succeeds. Paying a buyout and increasing NIL will sink LSU.

Dear George,
I watched the replay of the 2018 Feasta Bowl last night. That was a tuff, resilient team. LSU had 6/7 players out and 2 ejected from the game and still worked through the process.
This years team is a direct refection of it's coaching staff.
VERY SOFT!!!!
Do I want yaw yaw back, hell naw but, someone needs to start kicking someone in the arse.
Regards,
FATBOY

I live in Atlanta and trust me, there was a lot of “can’t get over the Bama hump” and “he’s not the answer” talk on Kirby Smart for the first few years. Fans are delusional and impatient, I tell ya

Play the weakest schedule known to man and lose in the playoffs. Yeah that’s dominant
