You don't have to wonder... in 2016 they wanted Carl Dabadie and Kip Holdens heads. This time around, it appears they are ok with a chief whose officers have been beating the shite out of black people for years.

I want law and order for everybody, but when you say that some believe you are being racist. But these bullets know no color. Think about the people who live in the neighborhoods dominated by the gangs. They aren’t safe. Stray bullets kill them too.

I can’t wrap my head around hosting a rally for the guy whose officers were torturing people in a black site for years, but because some white council members rightfully admonished his unprofessional meltdown, it’s time to circle the wagons.

A local “Rally” usually consists of a half dozen organizers, along with about a dozen friends and family.
It doesn’t matter the location or purpose. Most never have any type of crowd or support. However, every news outlet in town will be out covering it, and provide it legitimacy.

The most baffling part is that Chambers has already threatened the Mayor over this but is standing with the Chief
I'm no fan of the Mayor but if she's taking any heat, the Chief deserves twice as much.
