We were not going to stop them from getting into FG range. It was just one of those games you could see what the outcome was going to be. If you’ve watched the Saints enough, this is the norm

Maybe not but it would have been nice to see. Grupe blew it

We could have run the ball three times and made them take their timeouts or leave them just a few seconds. But we crapped the bed on playcalling and Grupe crapped the bed on his one job.

Don’t put this on Grupe.

This loss is 100% on Jameis Winston and our shite defense.

It’s like the Tampa away game last year. Down 2 TD’s but you just knew Brady was gonna get it done

Saints would be undefeated. That's tough to do in this league. Look, somehow Saints can go 3 and 1 in 1st qt of season is very good sign.

Fellas - Saints never had a chance. An immediate family member put a juju on the team while up 17-0, and every drive after. I tried to offset it. Too strong.

Making the FG would have been nice, though. But, yeah we were in the shite, it seemed.

thats crazy. the defense is legit. The refs gave them one of those 2 scoring drives with 2 PI calls, and the other was a collection of highlight reel catches. None of that is sustainable. We had an excellent chance of holding in that situation, but maybe losing was needed. A win would have only masked the glaring issues with this offense.

I would have taken my chances with that. That incomplete pass on second down didn’t help but that is a moot point now.

That last Winston pass should have been thrown past the first down marker. We get the first, game over.

Playing for the FG just sucked. We all saw it we all knew what would happen even if he made it.

Should have tried a 55 yd field goal earlier instead of punting. You can't play not to lose. We elect to punt. If he's the kicker u like, you have to put him through the test and kick a 55 like other teams are doing. Allen had no balls.

I don't care. I take win anyway I can get one. It's tough win a game in this league. DA knows how to blow leads.

Outcome pre-determined like other NFL games.

Some of yall love to hang on to this loser mentality for the last 17 years. The Saints could go 13-3 and you'd just be happy to be able to say "same ole Saints" 3 times.

The defense gives up 18 straight and is to blame. Grupe is to blame for failing at his job, Jameis is to blame for his failure as a backup and should have kept red rocket instead. Oline is to Blame for failing to protect Carr. Coaching is to blame for failed offensive scheme in second half. The entire team collapsed.
