I realize this is the wrong place to say this but: at first I thought they had no real case against the passenger. I realize he's a sociopath, but he wasn't the driver.
However it appears that he was egging the driver on:

I'm not going to watch the video again. But if that's what happened, that would seem to be a deadbang case that makes the passenger just as guilty.
Is that correct?

They had already stolen multiple cars on that day. It wasn't like the guy rode in his friends car and he just decided to run over someone
