Ordered 2 pallets of sod and the farm can’t deliver this small amount. Any suggestions or recs on trailer rentals? Expected weight is 3000-4000 lbs total so U-Haul isn’t an option. I’d just haul 1 at a time but it’s a 1 hour drive

Do you know of anyone with a p/u truck that has a long wheel base? You can lift the back gate off and the sod farm can slide a pallet in the back. Now,unless you know two people and one offers to drive you're looking at some driving but its just cheapest option.

Just make two trips. You’ll kill more time dicking around at rental places

Home Depot rental truck/van with a flatbed. I think you could fit two pallets on a 10' flatbed. They rent it at the Coursey HD location.

I don't know if the F250 bed would fit two pallets.

Home depot rents trailers, or a trailer rental place. I think HD is cheaper than most?

You definitely want a double axle trailer they are heavy as hell. I picked one up years ago in a buddies Silverado and it sagged like a mofo.

Go pick up one, drop it off at the house. Have the wife start laying the sod, go for a beer and maybe watch some football, go pick up the second one.

Profit!
