Correct, but MS makes them stay 1 mile offshore and doesn't allow them in close.

Do you still these types of fish kills in MS?

Mississippi is only slightly better than LA in terms of how they handle the pogy boats. They've let them run amok for a long time.

The majority of these boats fishing in Louisiana waters are coming from Mississippi

Actually I don’t believe we do. I’m not the most traveled offshore as I normally fish inshore or interior of our barrier islands.
