there is at least a large Memphis contingent of LSU fans that will be putting on a tailgate the likes of which Memphis has never witnessed. This would be the only good thing to come out of this season. There will be enough beer, booze, and food for tiger fans to forget they are even in Memphis.

I disagree, Slidell, any bowl vs. the Absolute Crappy Conference would be in our favor. That would be the Chicken Biscuit Bowl at that bad bowl up the Nashvegas.

Maybe the Liberty Bowl will be such a sobering experience for Miles that it forces him to make changes. The players that played in last years BCS game that will be playing next year will have an enlightened experience in Memphis.

No national media frenzy, no special treatment, playing outside in a dump of a stadium. Hopefully the weather is 35 degrees with rain.

Liberty opponent is C-USA champ which will be East Carolina or Tulsa/Houston/Rice and I am not going to say we are a sure thing although we should win. Houston and Tulsa are air attack teams and we could be in trouble if our D remains leaky.
