Starts Wednesday, Sept 27th.

This season was filmed after another season that will be shown as Season 36, next. This season, in conjunction with Survivor, will have all episodes at 90 minutes, and will bring back teams competing for seats on flights, the U-Turn, the Express Pass, and there will be no non-elimination legs! There will also be 13 teams to start with!
Going to Slovenia for the 1st time.

Gonna be fun to watch again!

I used to really enjoy the show but now it just becomes tedious watching teams do the challenges after other teams have done them faster or better

I end up fast forwarding through most of the episodes

I watch it just for the bickering when things get hectic and the travel locations.

They really needed to bring back the express pass and different flights, good to hear. Interesting how it’s going to be shown out of order though

I was in Dublin in July and I am pretty sure they were at my hotel. I saw some “teams” sitting around a table and it looked like they were holding the clue cards

I've been rewatching season 1, and it is crazy how much the show has changed over the years.

The producers used to put the contestants through hell on the India legs

I think it was last season when I had to quit mid-season. The BLM and SJW preaching got to be too much. A father/daughter duo came in last on a non-elimination leg but still wanted to quit. Phil and the dad had to talk the obese woman into staying. They lost the next leg and were eliminated but we got to hear her complain for 2 episodes and it was obvious she didn’t really want to be there.

At least they have one white/hetero married couple this season. They’re almost 40 so the odds are against them. Zero white/hetero boyfriend&girlfriend, though.

Survivor figured out how to build a good cast and still adhere to CBS’ reality show quotas so maybe Amazing Race can do the same. I’ll follow the thread to see how the season’s going and maybe jump in at some point.

Good first episode.
There's no team that really jumps out at me as a favorite, nor any team that I disliked enough to want them gone already.
I like that there are commercial flights back, giving teams that make the first flight a leg up.
I think I also like the mandatory U-Turn vote - could be interesting how it plays out.

And dang - that Thai massage...geez!

The season is starting off pretty good. There’s not a team I cannot stand, except the team that just got eliminated. The skinny one was irritating.
I do like the deaf father/son, the old Asian couple, the hot redhead from Texas, and the two computer geek black guys.
