One dead, one hospitalized after shooting at a St. Helena high school

St. Helena Parish Sheriff Nat Williams tells UWK that a 14-yr-old suspect is now in custody.

My wife works in town and has been sending me bits and pieces of what she’s heard. As she said, it’s all rumors coming into her business. She did say there were police units going towards the school. She’s about 3 blocks over.

That’s the high school. Pretty sure they changed the name from St Helena Central to make it sound fancy when the State had to take it over 10 yrs or so ago.

This wasn’t written very well. How can the 3rd student have more severe injuries than the one that died??
