Spin-off from that OT poster saying he raises 4 kids on 140k.

Is that responsible? Think about the type of car, after school activities, college, etc

If you're a competent adult, having children isn't irresponsible, regardless of how much money you make.

Middle class. If you're poor it's a lot more affordable.

When you immediately must run to the government assistance offices once you have them.

That’s irresponsible .

You make sacrifices where you must to raise your kids right. None of that shite you listed has a damn thing to do with raising good kids.

I'm currently post-divorce rearing three children solo on $90k a year, and we make it work.

I have 3 kids and we make about 100k. We all happy, or at least kids and wife pretend to be

I'm pretty convinced that you and BabyTac are the same person mostly because I don't want to believe we have 2 posters with the same terrible schtick

If you clear less than $1m a year then you shouldn’t (deliberately) have kids.

They will always be in the shadow of their peers.
They won’t get a new car at graduation (cash only), newest iPhone, designer clothing , a nice house with a pool (not in ground) etc.
if you’re workstation that 110% Walmart and not an arse or store manager, forget it.

If you’re flipping burgers then hell no.

Up for adoption. They’ll thank you later.

Looking at Hollywood...anyone that makes over $1M/year shouldn't have children

Having kids is an act of faith regardless of income, since nobody knows what tomorrow brings.

I’ve got three 26, 14,11

I’ve never noticed. You plan according to your ability. Was broke when the 26 was born. Do better now. It just works out.

From my experience, one can never afford the expense of children. Ever. So the best approach is not to make any decision of that kind based upon whether you can afford it. It's a personal commitment, not a financial commitment.

My wife and kids can’t make it work on $250k per year. There’s no limit to how much money women can spend. We were happier in our starter home making $90k

I raise 3 on a lot less than that. They all go to private school. We make a ton of sacrifices. The OT would also scoff at my lifestyle
