That’s not James Bond. Ian Fleming wrote James Bond and has been dead for nearly 60 years. Bond smokes heaters, drinks martinis, fricks dimes and slaps around commies in 6 figure cars.

Well ... they finally killed Bond it would seem. It's been coming for awhile. Albert Broccoli's ghey woke stepson from his 3rd wife, (Michael Wilson), is the killer.
Also, the writing is just bad ... regardless the overtly woke content.

This is the same playbook with comics: They alter the comics (which sell essentially no copies outside the author/artist family members these days) to justify the changes in upcoming media products.
E.g., "Akchually, Superperson is a queer, trans, Muslim refugee from Somalia in the last comic, and not actually a cis white man from Krypton, which is just a made up place, you silly bigoted everythingist."
