The problem isn't that they are doing this, or that he "isn't ready for it", but they need to be more strategic about how they're going about this. During the FSU game, the interior was getting some push into the backfield at times but there wasn't a huge edge presence: this is when they should have put Perkins back out there for a series or two to get some pressure from multiple angle. They have the LBs to do it - no reason to keep him from helping turn the tide back into LSUs favor.

I hate our passing concepts. We rarely hit a WR in stride running across the middle so he can get YACs. It's usually comeback routes, outs, WR screens, etc. If this is limitation due to Daniels, then let Nussmeier get some reps.

I don't understand why they don't push the field at all. Even if Daniels can't get the ball there, he can draw a PI when the receiver comes back to the ball. They have got to put more pressure on the secondary and back them off.
